Why I Needed A Work Reset

I left my work just after our company outing.

It was not sudden, I even had a 30 day rendering since I passed my letter last February. The main reason was the distance and the woes of the MRT and traffic played a major role. Another reason was the many opportunities missed by working long hours and overtimes were more of "charity". It was a job I was able to follow the normal 9-5 with rush hour and real lunchtime and was far from the graveyard shifts and holiday work.

Actually at my first months, I was really culture shocked with how things work. Adding fuel to the fire was I was thrown in to start immediately which with my previous jobs, I was able to experience a month of training before we nested and even waited a month to go live. Being in a position that was supervisory was the challenge I was willing to face, and it was not easy. However I slowly learned that being tough was the valuable lesson to be take note.
