Skit... accomplished
It was a hectic week for me in the past few days. I had to really work on a skit that I proposed for the Ka-talk youth forum event. And it ended well. I dont have regrets because I was the one who volunteered for that, just needed support, although I handed most of the expenses, actually, nahihiya ako sa mga cast ko dahil kahit busy na sila sa work at school nakapunta sila sa practice at pati sa event ng hindi nagrereklamo, sabi ko nga we wil meet sometime to celebrate what they worked for, so I want to give them most of the credit. To name them, they are Yuli, Fatti, and Joseph, all of them are my org mates in MAGWAYEN, the theater arts group of PLM. The event was great specially the speaker who used the scenes of the skit to explain the topic, which is actually the Eucharist (sounds religous, but really it was really interesting). As of now, I will focus on my enrollement for an online school plus apply for another job.
Also, even the skit being a success, I would still note some learnings in acting and theater with our performance (I was also part of the cast, I had no choice), there were still dead air, no interaction with the audience, irrelevant adlibs , technical problems etc. All of these were noted, also it was my first time to do a skit in a bigger audience. And I know all of them also had some slips, thats forgivable, no harm done. What I would say if I would see them online or by text is saying, kudos!
And also this performance also inspired me write again. To finish my other works. I knew it was just something that would get me kicking again. Its a writer's sickness, and I would even call it sloth. Moreover, again I'm back at this blog, improving myself. Reminding also the reason I bought my laptop, to write.
I know that my blogs are not of that big-time people in the cyberspace, but It would be good to know that someday, if ever I will be successful in my carreer, I will look back at this blog and see what I have become. If there will be an opportunity if more people will see it, why not? It may also open a mind from a milliom readers (I love exaggerating). Guys, I not different from you. If I do inspire, hope you make yourself an inspsiration for others....
